After going on my first cruise with the QLD guy's on the weekend I thought I would throw up a ride thread for my SC14 6-speed AW11.

This is my daily driving AW11, was bought from WA shortly after it was sold from the original owner in Vic who built her up. It came back on the market 1-week after I picked up my first AW11 from SA which is a 4AGTE, knowing the car already I just could not let this one go and decided to buy her as well.

When I got the car I had it put on the Dyno and came in just under 120kw atw, this was before the 164mm crank pulley was installed and also the W2A intercoolers pump was not working at the time. Will have her back on the Dyno in the next few months, would say it should be around the 130kw atw now.

The car came to me in an almost perfect condition, below is a list of the mods I have had done to the car since I got her.

164mm crank puley installed
Rebuilt SC14 installed
3SGTE TB Installed
Custom bypass system for the SC14 (Using a WasteGate)
Coilovers removed, went back to Koni & Springs
Changed from PCW 10kg 16" rims to some lovely Ray's Volk G2 16" @ 5.3kg per rim

There is only really one last thing I plan to do with this car which is to change the SC14 125mm pulley to a MAP GZE's SC12 120mm pulley, this should give me a little bit more boost and will hit the limit I am prepared to push the SC14 to just over 10,000RPM at around 7200RPM off the motor.

I'm curious.  Why the custom SC bypass?

Something about the conversion that needed that?

Yeah the motor in this thing is awsome, it's really been built to be turboed so there is plenty of room to play around in the future to get more power and the motor will handle it. The 6-speed is great until you jump into a 5-speed and try and put it in reverse from 5th expecting it to be 6th. :P

You prob can't see from the photos but there was no room for the stock ABV. After doing a fair bit of reading I decided I wanted a bypass system on there and the wastegate idea seemed like a good way to go. Makes the car drive a lot nicer than without any kind of bypass as well. You can see the wastegate setup in the youtube video link on the first post.

After seeing this car on our Christmas run, I can say that it looks even better 'in the flesh' so to speak. Sounds great & goes like the proverbial.
