You might just have to replace some of the silicone joiners/clamps.
All the kits are made in china so its just luck.
 
You wont notice any difference is pipe size. Measure your throttle body and get closest size pipe. I havent looked at them for a long time but would be surprised if they actually different

The one I had came from Monster performance. It was a few years ago but the only thing I needed was a new hose clamp.
But as I said its just luck.

Correct, the pipes and silicone are made in China eg. "MONSTA performance" (what isn't these days??).
My IC did not include piping (got it S.H. from a forum member), so I had to buy a kit and bought one on ebay but we found that the cold pipes from the IC outlet to the TB did not fit!! SO I had to buy a rather expensive ($50) large silicone elbow from Autobarn, and luckily I had a Greddy pipe lying around already that I used instead. The piping from the factory hot pipe to the IC inlet were OK though.
 
You will also want a thermo fan (Davies Craig I use) + shroud and a blockoff plate, so it does get expensive when you add up all the bits and pieces and stuffing around.
 

All ebay cores are the same. Piping is a hit and miss and is also the same size although they advertise otherwise afaik.

I have a spare gen 2map sensor if you want to check if yours is faulty.
Also are you sure it's a boost cut and not a blown knock sensor.

Thanks :) yeah that's the problem - there is many cool things that you can do - ie new ic, ecu.   a mate was just selling me on the virtues of getting a wideband o2 sensor...  I think atm I'll just try and restrict myself to some maintenance instead of getting new bits :)
 
Weekend's job will be to clean the intake (before the turbo) for starters, and investigate the o2 sensor situation.  The IC can wait. esp if it's going to cost $500+ all up and my current intake doesn't have any leaks.
 
 

purple5ive - I may take you up on that thanks.  Since I'm running stock boost now with stock exhaust it's hard to get it to trip, it probably happens once a month now instead of daily.  I'll do a comp test first and see if iwant to modify the boost, otherwise I'm happy to only have it go once every now and then.
 
The car is running rich so there might be some more maintenance / cleaning to be done :)

They're for a wideband o2 sensor mate, for AFR tuning when you get your MAP ECU3 ;)
