Im still waiting on my patch loom and sensors from Berk. Three weeks and four emails and I haven't even got a response!
Not very happy.

On a side note though, last week I paid my last car payment. I own my 1992 GT turbo outright :)
To celebrate, I also got Shannons comprehensive insurance. :-D
Needless to say, i am absolutely ecstatic!

berk will wire the harness with the MAT and IAT sensor wires hanging off it seperately and already attached to the patch loom so you can coonect the MAT and IAT sensors directly to it, thats how mine came
you wont be needing the afm plugs by the looks of it

also your running 15psi on hiflowed ct26 are you still usign the stock fuel pump.
im plannign on doing this soon as well but with a power fc
ur so lucky to get the gen 3 ecu that cheap i couldnt even find one when i was looking for it
iil be keeping an eye on this thread
let me know how you go as you will probably get it done much sooner than i will, i started last year lol just been lazy

I changed to the gen3 coil/ignitor set to alleviate the ignition cut
that occurs at around 6800rpm
if you run the gen2 coil/ignitor with the gen3 powerFC.
(not really a problem if you have a CT turbo on though)

can you please explain this a bit more briefly as to why its not a problem when running a CT series turbo
i have the gen 2 igniter aswell but was going to change the dwell setting on it to avoid the rpm cutout

Still completely reversible though correct?

I was using the stock fuel pump for a while, getting AFRs beyond 10. But that may also be a side effect of my FCD.
I now have a walbro 255.

Also, I think it isn't a problem for CT turbos because they generally run out of puff any higher than that, so you really don't need the extra RPM.

If by reversible you mean changing the dwell settings on the gen 2 igniter then yes , but it can only be done using a Datalogit box, so in ur case not worth the extra hassle better to just get a gen 3 igniter supposedly the same as the camry ones from the same year
I though the same about the ct turbos but the ct20b, ct27 and hiflowed ct26 supposedly can pull to redline which is why I asked that question

Btw – how did you monitor the AFR- wideband??

A mate of mine had a sniffer. We did a few pulls with the sniffer gauge.
Im very keen on buying/installing an AEM x-wifi AFR module a little bit down the track, you don't always need an AFR gauge, but it's good to have when you need it. Just login through the iPhone.

Regarding the ignitor, I did manage to get a gen3 one off a mate with a camry, I just matched the part numbers.
I'm guessing it doesn't work for gen2 electronics though?

By the reversible comment, I meant the sensors and patchloom. But it should be alright.

yeah sensor and loom can be reversed
im pretty sure the gen 3 igniter wont work with gen 2 but dont quote me on it but its easy to swap over so should be good
good luck with it mate

cheers

Harness and sensors gave arrived!
Of course, now I font have time to install it for another few weeks...
I have a walbro pump, and don't have 540cc injectors. Has anyone tried this with 440s?

So it turns out that the conversion harness i got from a certain supplier in the US is COMPLETELY wrong.....

its missing male pins for NE, THA, VS, THG, G2, G1, then there are other wires such as PS that go to ABS, FPR that goes to PS.
I've contacted the supplier, and tried to repin the female ends.... but i'm not sure how to change the male pins over....
