I have been looking for an AW11 for a while with no luck. Located in ACT and was wondering if anyone had one they were willing to let go. Doesn't need to be in mint condition but preferably something that isnt a complete project.

I have a black AW11 in South Australia which is in pretty good condition. However it is not registered at the moment.
 
So if you are serious about buying let me know by PM and I will send you some photos. But please don't waste my time if you are not interested in buying an interstate car. Other people have done this in the past and were just time wasters. A couple of tyre kickers contacted me regarding sale of one of my other cars, asking me to do this and do that and after i did what they asked they did not even come out and look at the car. The excuse of one was " oh i have to ask my wife before I can buy it" and the other was " Oh I have to ask my brother before I can buy it"
 
You may only be looking for one in the ACT or closer to you though.
Be prepared to pay good money for an AW11 as they are very rare now.
 
If you look on gumtree you will find only 2 in Australia, one for $10000.00 and the other for $9000.00.
I am selling a project AW11 on gumtree for $2500.00. It does need some work though.

Understand that you dont want to be messed around, my purchase would be dependant on me and no one else. Could you give me some more details about the car. I'm fairly new to MR2s and doing work on cars myself so I just want to understand a bit more about the state of the car itself before I commit to anything or give you any false impressions. It being interstate isnt a huge issue, would just mean that it would probably take longer for me to arrange a time to come see it. I completely understand there are not many in Australia I have been looking since the beginning of the year.

With the Green AW11 you can see what I wrote on the gumtree add. That will tell you what problems it has.
The black AW11 has nothing wrong with it and is in pretty good condition considering it is 29 years old.
The only drawback is that it is not registered.
I can only attach one photo when I reply to a post. I don't know if that is peculiar to me.
If you send me a PM with your email address I can send more photos of the Black AW11

Still looking for a AW11. Message me if you have one you are willing to let go.
