Yes, I can put something together if we have enough AW. The key is keeping all the cars within a set state of overall tune. The problem is the big gap with street and mod street.
You can have a class with mild tune on stock tyre or mild tune on bigger tyre which is easier to source, or use a group buy on a set tyre to save some money. So, if there are 6-10 from all over the place a group buy for 205/225/45/16 tyres or specify a select tyre for a class. It could be a great way to save money and keep and even playing field. Something to think about.
The turnout of the Eastern states in 2015 was a good balance of cars aside from the low number of Spyder but as they are more expensive and not really used too often for trackwork, its understandable.
There are a number of SW and AW who could not make it due to cars still off the road but these owners are expected to make the trip in 2016. There were 16 (I think) cars at the Wednesday night meet after MTC. It would have good to see some of these owners make the trip but I believe all were back at work.
If MTC was run on the Sunday Monday, it would have greater numbers but I don't think we need too many more entrants. More staff is required for more people to enter but it would cost more money and I do not want to push the cost up if possible.
As you guys well know I have huge admiration for your solid approach to no bs, and getting to the track and having some fun. Not to mention the trip to NSW the last few years.
I will be coming over this year which is one NSW car to come and drive your track. Certainly looking forward to the trip.
