I have a brake booster out of a 1990 model mate, I know its not what your looking after exactly but im located in melb.

As far as I know the 'fat' boosters were only on early model JDM models about 1990, and the check valve will be mounted on the booster body on those and I doubt if you could use it anyway with a later booster.
 
All the other boosters are 'slimline'
They all look the same except that the '90 model ADM cars had a 'slimline' booster with the check valve mounted on the booster body. They only used a 7/8 "M/C
 
Later boosters only have a hose neck connector on the booster body (see pic) and they all used a 15/16" M/C
With those, the check valve is mounted in the engine bay on the intake manifold.
I believe that probably was done to give more volume to the vacuum system.
 
You can buy a 10 mm check valve that you should be able to easily insert into your existing vacuum hose on the manifold.
My car is an NA I have done that myself. I also have a later model booster with a Supra 1'' M/C
BTW, horrible brakes without the check valve as you can imagine, and there have been posts on the forum about that.
 
A check valve like this should fit, although I used a Honda one that looks about the same.

I forgot to mention that make sure you fit the check valve the right way around because it must hold the vacuum in the booster reservior.

No worries...last night I bought a suitable booster from 'mrmr2' in VIC :-)
