I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing the same problem? but I haven't been receiving any notification email once a PM has been received so I have no idea if I have a PM or not without logging on.

Just to add to that I am subscribed under the settings to receive instant notification upon receiving a PM and also I have been receiving subscription notifications but just not PM notifications

I've not seen that problem - my notifications are still coming through OK.
As a possible aid to debugging, I use gmail, and my original login, (not FB or Twit)

Do you have another email address you could try? Maybe the PM notifications are being blocked by your spam filter? Try adding the [email=donotreply@mr2australia.com][/email] address to your trusted address list

I experienced this problem today actually. Just visited the site now and noticed a PM was waiting from 3Hrs ago.
I have never had this problem before with the upgraded forum software. PM notification emails were working fine with my Gmail account.  

It happened again today. Logged in to check the forum and noticed an unread PM.
What I did see is that it said I was at 55/50 Private messages. I started to delete some inbox messages and then clicked on sent to delete so of them. In sent it says the max private messages limit is 500.
Anyway I dropped them both down under 50 and will see what happens. Bit confusing :)
 
Will report back if/when I get another PM to see if that fixed my prob

I am also experiencing this problem after the forum upgrade, sometimes I will get notification other times no notification of PM, nothing in SPAM folders on my e-mail account, appears to be intermittent.

Just to follow up on my last message. Received another PM tonight and got the email notification. It must not email once you are over your PM quota??? It didn't warn about being over though.

You are correct. PM notifications are not sent when the PM inbox is full.
I have explained it to the developer and he said he will implement a change in a future version that sends an email to the user when the inbox is full and also explaining that further PM notifications won't be sent until the inbox is cleared.
FYI forum supporters have a PM inbox quota of 500 messages. Normal users have a quota of 50 messages.
