This is my SW20. It's a 97 Bathurst that is totally original atm. I picked it up in February with only 125,000kms on it.
Many changes are planned, with a BEAMS half cut arriving soon. Funds are limited, so things will take time.

My first recommendation is that you get the exhaust heat shields and bolts ceramic coated before you do the swap. Doesn't cost too much and the shields look much better in matte black than corroded silver.

I was thinking of getting them ceramic coated silver. Any idea how much it costs?

I can't remember off the top of my head how much it was, but I think it was around $160-180, or possibly even a little less. If you email them photos of the parts, they'll be able to do a quote using those.
 
Mandalay would know of some places in Melbourne that do it too. As you can see by his photos, he's had a lot done!

Any recommendations as to things i should do before fitting the Beams? I plan on replacing belts, oil filter and plugs. Is it worth flushing the engine before putting new oil in?
