Yeah saw that, its bloody tidy, body-wise.  The engine has a BHG, but that wouldn't be a huge issue.  If only I had a garage to put it in... :(

Yeah i'd say its drivable, but not far.  I'd buy it and jam a decent 20V into it lol

Hi all
I owned this car for about 3 years and was very happy with it.
I put a new clutch in it about Nov last year.
It does not have any rust and is very tidy.
The car is an Aussie delivered car and has Aussie compliance plates so no hassle for interstate buyers.
I am surprised that the new owner thinks it has a BHG and it overheats. I suspect it needs a proper flush and clean  of the radiator.
When I bought it I replaced the heater hoses as they were corroded and I noticed that the coolant was crystallised.
I suspected the original owner had mixed different types of coolant in the car.
I remember it overheated once in the time that I had it . I  pulled over, wait for about 5 mins while it cooled and then continued on. It did not overheat after that.
The person that bought it from me picked it up on a 42 degree hot day in February and drove it from my place at Seacombe Heights to Salisbury and it did not overheat.
He had a mechanic that checked the car thoroughly including driving it up and down a hilly area where I live. I remember he said the car was very good, drove straight and had no major issues.
The only thing he found was a minor oil leak ( seepage he said) that came from the top of the engine possibily from  the cam cover.
I noticed the person that bought it from me sold it some months later without the carpets and with a new front lip.
My guess he raced it, had his fun and moved on.
Good luck to the person that buys it because at $1300 it is very cheap even if it has some issues.
Cheers

Get it pare!

If the body looks as straight as it does in the pics, it's a good buy (esp if there's really no rust).
