Hi guys

What is the easiest way to take out the low beam bulbs? Looks pretty involved no matter what way I go. Any help appreciate thanks

? There's only one bulb in each headlight, two filaments.
There's only one way to change them.

not too hard, headlight is up (obviously), then remove the 4 screws that hold the black housing around the light in, then the headlight should come straight out.

An easy job to fit so long as you have the later type lens/reflector assemblies.
You need a H4 50/65W globe, but obviously change both sides while you're at it.
I have found the Phillips range of globes to be excellent.

(Early SW20's had sealed beam headlamps that are by now very inferior. If you've got those you would be best updating to semi sealed reflectors with separate globes)

After you undo the screws holding the chrome surround around the front of the lamp as well.

Yeah, it's pretty easy. Just don't rush or you'll be kicking yourself for dropping one of the screws.

I should also have mentioned, it is also a good idea to remove the RTR fuse from the frunk box before starting the job.

How many forum members does it take to change a light bulb?

Might be a good idea to replace the long bolts that angle the headlamp before they rust to hell, depending on the condition. Mine was so rusted I almost couldn't take it out!
These "semi-sealed reflectors" sounds like a good upgrade. While on topic, what do you guys think of projectors? I found some cool looking items
