Penrite recently changed their line up, I think the synthetic 5 is now called 10 tenths premium 5. I'd be interested to see how the new fully synthetic HPR 5 goes, I've heard good things and after speaking with a few people in the field have gone with their transgear for my E51, fingers crossed.

Also for those in WA, MALZ is the cheapest for Penrite, for some reason. They have 10 tenths premium 5 for the same price as Supercheap has 10 tenths racing.

I used to have an old Datsun 200B that seemed to use more oil than fuel.  I used Mobil 1 Fully synthetic in it...... straight from the sump of my dads car!!

Cheers

I used to use Royal Purple, found it to be very good straight from the bottle but doesn't seem to last long, have switched to Pen Syn 5 since the rebuild and have been very happy since.

Both very good oils,
Had the same experience with RP
But after a few changes 3500kms later oil still honey coloured

Was a tad upset it still wasn't purple :( ahaha :p

Each to there own don't really want to try any other oils just based on the fact in happy and have had no real reason to change. But if I do will definitely give pen syn a go, :)
