Gatesys SW20
Exactly my same thoughts
^^
Thanks guys thats the plan should be able to get 6-7 or mine
And get a really good turbo example
As I don't want to muck about changing stuff just want to be lazy and buy one already built and do a few minor things :) to make it mine
Thanks again

Oh i've been named again? Thanks Dudeman

Personally, the choice was easy for me.
1. I'd had the car from almost new, 11yrs
2. engine hit 200,000kms, i was going to take it out and get someone to rebuild it anyway
3. It recently had a respray with all the bodykits and ICE units
4. and a perfect 3/4cut came on the market for about $6K (thanks MR2QIK) i was going to spend half of than anyway on the rebuild.

In spare parts alone i got back what i paid the mechanic (thanks Senor_2)

Added a few parts here and there to get to where i want.

^that was the right for you to do but not Gatesys.

Gatesys, Darius has an emotional attachment with his car after 11yrs, repainted it & it was already a Gen3 94+ with the better brakes etc. You're not in the same boat. Engine conversion may cost you approx $5k, whereas you can sell yours for $6-7k as mentioned & pay $5k on top for a nicer example. There's Gen3's for sale for $12k asking price & modified Gen2's too. Just be sure to do your research & be thorough before buying a "nicer" MR2 turbo.
