Was also first time for me to drive on a race track and I had a ball. Sorry to all those much faster drivers if I got in your way.  Big thanks to Steve for organizing this great event. Also thanks to all that gave driving tips.  Thanks Ian for taking me for a drive in my own car.  Wish I could drive like you.

Only bad news for me is I left my Braun electric tooth brush in the accommodation.  If anyone picked it up please give me a PM.

No they are Advans

He was running Hoosier R6 on Tuesday when he did a 1.07 lap.
I was running them as well. Great grip and they didn't overheat. They are also much cheaper than the Yokohama A050, though they aren't road legal.

I would also like to say Thank You to Steve and those that assisted in organisation.
I rarely get to attend events that are "just for fun" these days and this was a very good one.
Great to meet a stack of great enthusiasts as well.
Neil

Thanks for coming along, Neil. Your advice was very helpful

Shout out to Steve for the amazing event he organised! Had an absolute blast for the two days!
We from SA will most definitely be attending again next year, and we're looking into dragging some more people along (most likely not in MR2's unfortunately) so pack on some more numbers!
I, personally, would also like to thank Steve for lending me his shifter cables to get me home. I'll be looking into getting some more N/A ones within the next week or so, so he can have his ones back.
For my first track experience, I don't think I could have asked for better! Shame I didn't finish, but things could have been a lot worse...
Hoping to see you all next year and race again! I'll see if I can't be a bit more competitive next time and give some of you turbo guys a run for your money :P

Quick post before I resume my event hang over and sleep for another 3 days...

Big thanks to Steve for running another top notch event, will certainly be back in 2015 with a working car this time. Big thanks to my wonderful lady, Cait who put up with my bipolar swings of rage and depression leading up to the event as I struggled to get my AW11 remotely close to driveable, then allowed me to flog her stock standard non-turbo 2009 Subaru Impreza (HMAS Impreza) around the track for two days (and clinch 12th place overall!) after my AW11 **** itself half way to the event. Big thanks to all the great mates I had a chance to catch up with, the new ones I met and the awesome amount of fun we all had!

I'll be doing a bit of an event report / write up over the coming days and post it up in the usual spots.

Yes! Thanks from the SA Guys, and the info you guys shared with me about rebuilds etc. And Evo do not rule and we will try and end their reign 2015!  What class was the evo in? But Turbo do rule over NA.
