I'm started to get excited about this event. Mostly because I am actually taking my MR2 this time.
I just went out to the garage to check a few things on it. For the first time ever - there isn't much to do!
I even started it just to make sure it still works. I've had so much bad luck with it over the years I'm expecting something to go wrong.
I've even resorted to superstition. I found a 10 yen coin under the carpet of the GT4 and I have glued it to the roll cage of the MR2 as a good luck charm. It's worked so far.
Maybe you need one too, Steve?

Glad you will have you car up & running Steve .  How many people have lined up for passenger runs with you?
How many passenger runs do we get?
My next question was going to be about food, so thanks for answering already.
I'm guessing I should be there somewhere between 5 & 6ish on Sunday, so count me in for the roast.
I'm getting excited & a nervous, lol.  Since the new clutch, my baby is running so much better.  No clunky gear changes.  No need to double clutch at all.  And nice & quiet going over speed bumps since I got new bushes, etc.

Tree,

One of the guys in Melbourne has a head organised for me. It will be up here is a few days then fitted by New Year so looking ok for a drive at the trackday. Humbled at the support. Thankyou people.
You passenger run is secure! Looks like there will be a convoy of about five cars from Victoria. I wonder if it was possible for at the people coming from the south the meet at the turn off for S.A./W.A. on the Highway? It would be pretty cool seeing it all happen.

I will bring the webber along and throw a roast with some vegies on the Sunday afternoon for everyone. Will be ready by 7pm.
Just need to sort out some salad and rolls to go with the roast.
Don't forget your breakfast if that's how you start the day. The café will be open with a hot food, rolls, coffee etc if you don't get the chance to have something organised.
If people are interested in bringing their push bikes along, you are able to ride or walkthe track after it is closed for motorsport. People can also ride/walk the track before 7.30am. Allow 20mins for the walk.

Everyone who arrives on the Sunday will have their cars scrutineered, cars receive a scrutineering sticker, car number, cars will be set up in the garages in anticipation of the Monday events. If I can organise access to the scales, we will also sort this out on the Sunday to save some time on the Monday.

Anyone coming along to the watch can park their car on the grass area outside the café. After having a look at a good location this is clearly the best with a grassed area and a backdrop of trees and the café. So after seeing the on track action, you can go for a walk to the café and enjoy a car show on the way there.

Any questions, let me know.

Regarding first paragraph, would be great to catch up along with the WA/VIC mr2 on way over from S.A. ATM there are 4 of us coming across, 3 sw20 mr2's & one trailered Toyota Corolla.
We will be leaving Adelaide at 4am Sunday morning, google maps says it around 1250km trip, so Im guessing we wont reach track till around 6pm - stopping for refueling / drinks etc.

Hope to see you all soon.

I have pulled the cover off the front of the Spyder so I can at least see it but I have been flat out painting my drive and carport the last few days. now that I have done some work around the house hope to have enough brownie points to be able to get some time on the cars. I am virtually at the same point with the car as I was this time last year. Seeing everyone else getting things doing on theirs is making me jealous and annoyed that I have not pulled my finger out.

If I do take the ADUB I might trailer it down just so there is a trailer there if anyone needs it.

It will be good to see the track again, its been too long.

I think that's a fair time but take your time getting there. Remember there are three other tracks before you get to the full circuit. At least with these tracks, everyone is on common ground.
