It's a pretty impressive time by Adrian but still only a second quicker than the times from his KU36's. Says a lot for the Kuhmo. Certainly will be the one to chase in the Modifed Street under 2.0ltr.
I expect it will be a lot quicker in January. I would have been there with my car but I had issues with the ECU. It will have a Haltec by Friday next week and two practice runs at Wakefield before the Trackday.
A friend is asking about coming along with his old Pug 205. Its pretty quick, 1.07 in testing last week, will do a 1.09 with semi's. Also does a great Greek BBQ.
As for the list, I will detail it later today. The cars are as follows:
SW20        : 10
AW11        : 5
MRS          : 1
EVO          : 3
370Z        : 1

I have added Adrian, Ian and Ethan but yet to see their entries as yet. There is one car with two drivers. I have set it up so they both get the same amount of track time as everyone else.
Still waiting on a few maybe's and 6 from last year will not be there in 2014. Hopefully, 2015 will have everyone from 2013 and 2014 there.

Good luck with the new ECU Steve. Hopefully it solves all your problems. Great work Glenn. Let us know what times you get!

Tyres felt awesome. Really fun and forgiving. Grip was spectacular. Christian Hansen from Yokohama was also at the day doing pyro testing so I didn't have to spend all day figuring out optimal tyre pressures. Quick pyro reading and adjusted my pressures for even temperatures across the tyre.

Once I get used to these tyres they will be at least 1.5 secs faster than the kumhos. Still adjusting to the new grip and driving style required. Those last few track days in the kumhos I felt that I was squeezing every last bit out of them in each corner from braking through to exit. Not at that stage yet with the a050s.

On old Kumhos at the moment. Will try the new Hoosiers in the last session. I heat cycled them in the practice session.

Wow the Hoosiers are great! Much more grip than the Kumhos, and the Kumhos are pretty good

Hoosier is a great tyre. What time did you manage?

1m 7s
I was being held up by a Clubman when I was running the Hoosiers in the last session and he didn't make any mistakes so I couldn't get around him. The interesting thing was that we had the same straight line acceleration though he was holding me back through the esses. Who would have thought that an MR2 would out handle a clubman!
He was running Toyo semis.
I reckon I would have got a low 1m 6s. Maybe a high 5s if I had a clear run. Still learning the track too.
South circuit by the way......
The 5SGTE seems to have much better mid range torque. I suppose that would be expected with the extra cubes....

Randomity
Given I'm running KU36's on the Rear and Fed 595 RSR's on the front, I'll aim for the minute teens.

Having never been to Wakefield (JUST can't justify the 1200 k trip for every track day held there), I'll see how I go and try for, say, 1m 15ish as a start...
best case scenario, hoping for 1:13

Wish me luck, I'm gonna need it :P

Who from Queensland is going to this, and how are you getting your car there?  Are there any people thinking about going but haven't pulled the pin as they don't know how to get there car there?  I've been trying to work out what I am doing (going or not etc) and probably have the ability to get a car carrier to take some cars down if numbers were sufficient (prob 5 cars or something to make it worthwhile).  Then we could just car pool to get down or fly, whatever was preferred.  Anyone from Queensland that was looking to tow there car or was undecided about going because they couldn't get there car there?
