Major bummer on the Blitz turbo today.
Down in Adelaide for a few days so I drove the hire car down to the shop to pickup the K1. When I arrived I was presented with the turbo minus the exhaust housing! The Caldinas previous owner had it fitted into the factory gen 4 manifold/ex housing combo in place of the ct15b.
I could have took it home with me and tried to find an ex housing but I decided it wasn't worth the hassle and took a refund :( I don't even know if the ex housing is a stock 20b or something modified by blitz or if the centre cartridge was modified to fit in place of the 15b.
Oh well, will continue to use the old ct26. Maybe a gt3071 kit will come available soon haha.

Hopefully my coilovers will be at home waiting for me when I return.

Rally potato may be a good turbo option.

Efr would be a mental option.

Nick, you take any pictures of it?

Nah no pics. Looked to be in very good condition though. Imagine a ct20b without the turbine housing and clamp.

That is a real bummer mate.  Just wondering though, would a ct20b exhaust housing bolt straight on? The dimensions can't be too far off, particularly as the K1 bolts straight on to the Gen 3.

I have a spare ct20b exhaust housing if you want to try..

I was thinking the 20b housing should fit straight on until I did a bit of research and found that the ct15b ex housing and turbine are completely. You can't put a ct20b centre section on the gen4 exhaust mani/housing.

Thank you very much for the offer on the housing though :) I just don't have the balls to try it as I don't think it'll work.

Went and picked up my custom Front 4kg Rear 6kg coilovers from Justjap today. For some reason they gave them to me for trade price??? $1249

I gotta say that they exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort. They feel fantastic. I have the adjusters set half way at 15 front and rear. Not harsh at all :) Handling has improved also.

I've only driven about 10kms on them so far but no complaints yet. Just nice to have all new bits.

I haven't decided on when whether I'm going to drop the car down quite low or similar to what it was before. Guess I'll have a fiddle and see where it ends up :)
