 Hi all,

Just thought I'd start a showroom thread for my newly acquired AW11.
My daily driver Camry was about to run out of rego and I have been itching to try out AW11 ownership when I decided to bite the bullet and buy the one below.
It is in need of some TLC which works out well as that is exactly what I'm looking for.
Even though it is running on 6-7psi it feels great in the lighter AW11. I think I prefer the AW11 to the SW20
to be honest!

It currently has a standard Gen3 3sgte installed with a Gen3 LSD E153 gearbox with half gen3/ half camry axles
The previous owner assembled the engine using a gen2 block, new stock clutch, cometic HG, ARP head studs and new water/Timing Belt/Tensioner etc etc
The turbo is plumbed to the factory supercharger airbox/piping and is running on wastegate pressure (6-7 psi it seems)
It utilises the factory supercharger top mount air to air intercooler
It is fitted with a HKS exhaust which has been modified to connect to the factory dump pipe.
It has some sort of front brake upgrade as per the engineering report
The engineer report also covers the boost guage to the right of the dash cluster, lowering of ride height, battery relocation and the 17in wheels (To be replaced at some point)

I'll get some pics and more information up later tonight.

Its good to be back :)
No big power plans with this one at all. This is my daily driver so needs to be reliable and drive like stock.
I am basically wanting about 200rwkws with simple bolt ons.
My plan of attack is the following:

Ugraded air filter setup (Have already purchased an Apexi Gen3 filter kit)
CT20B turbo (I think it might have a CT26 atm, not sure)
Berk Gen3 Coated downpipe
Exhaust (Already have the HKS but it might become restrictive as the power goes up as its meant for a 4agze)
More boost (Take it up to 16psi or so with a simple Turbosmart Boost Tee)

If that doesn't hit 200ish I'll install a Power FC

I think i'm on the money in regards to the above but I might be way off. Its been a while :)

Update:
In the first four days of ownership I have sorted a whole stack of things on the car. I managed to get this done in the evenings after work :)

Spare key cut
Wired up the third brakelight on the spoiler
Replaced all rear lighting with new globes (Two were burnt out)
Bought new floormats
Installed a new leather shift boot (Ordered from the UK before I bought the car)
Removed old busted stereo and dodgy stereo/Amp wiring
Installed new Pioneer CD/MP3 and got the power antenna working
Installed stereo brackets and pocket  (Ordered from the UK before I bought the car)
Installed KBox eccentric rod guides for the targa roof (Ordered from Canada before I bought the car)
Thoroughly cleaned the black interior (looks beautiful now)
Interior light didn't work so removed it and fixed the connections on the back of it. All good now. (Ordered a new light cover from the US as mine is brittle)
Tidied up the ecu wiring in the boot. Replaced crimped wires with heat shrinked solder joints
Have started fixing and replacing engine vacuum connections. Previous owner had it all connected wrong. Car couldn't idle cold etc. (He plugged the vac line to the IACV haha)
Have started installing an Apexi Gen3 3sgte intake kit. Should be done with that tonight.

Tomorrow I am picking up an OEM Gen3 thermostat and gasket from Toyota. Will be flushing the system, installing new thermostat and filling with coolant. (Currently has an aftermarket thermostat in it which is taking ages to get up to temp)

Tuesday or Wednesday I should recieve the gen3 map sensor I ordered from Japan so will install that along with a boost controller.

That is all.

Awesome progress! Hows the suspension? What kinda rims you planning?

The suspension is suprisingly good. Much more comfortable than my old SW20.
It has some sort of adjustable shocks in it with four settings. Currently on number 1.
No idea what springs are in it.
The tyres are 205/35/17

Wheels, no idea at this stage. It will be one of the last things done during this overhaul process. Once I'm happy with the mechanicals and missing trim/plastics have been located I'll start shopping for some rims, see what Dylan has available.
