can you confirm that this fits to the gsv40?

Eric. We fitted the upgraded metal oil cooler lines to Adrian's 2GR engine (GSV40)  last Saturday along with the replacement (all metal)VVTI line. Cost from memory for the oil cooler upgraded lines was $170. You have to undo the oil cooler/heat exchanger from the block to fit them as there is no give or flex in the metal lines. Easy to see why Toyota used the rubber hose joiner in the original design/

Great idea having an Australian specific write-up, the more information the better...
I will try and contribute as well once mine gets under away, I will be doing things slightly differently though, using an Evora ECU and making my own headers and exhaust.

This is what I like to see with contributions. If anyone has any wiring diagrams they have done etc please post them. Theres so much out there for the US with regards to wiring but not for the Australian market!

It has been said that the alloy pedal adapter that comes in Goukys kit will not work in RHD cars
This is in part true because most people try to use the pedal from the donor car
If you use the pedal from a corolla the adapter is quite easy to modify with one extra hole being drilled and it gets pedal to exactly the same position as the original



Aurion pedal top
Corolla pedal middle
Modified Gouky adapter bottom
The mounting bolt pattern on the Corolla pedal is reversed so bolts right up to the adapter

Discovered a small trick tonight while helping Adrian with his swap.
 
You cannot fit or remove the drivers side lower control arm bolt from the sub frame while the motor is bolt in. You must lower the sub frame to remove/install the bolt, otherwise the sump and block prevent the bolt from aligning.
 

And no, moving the washer and cable out of the road doesn't give you enough space ;)

Is this on the later revision subframe?
I don't recall this being an issue and I have the older version

Any particular model Corolla pedal? Keen to do this as my accelerator pedal is actually higher than the brake pedal.

I believe the cross member is a gen 3 item. Adrian can confirm.
