Hi everyone,

On Sunday the 8th of November, the MR2 Club of NSW will be hosting the 20th Annual Bathurst Run. 
 
Being the 20th anniversary of this popular event, this run will be a big one! It will cover many fun roads with lovely countryside scenery, including Putty Road and Golden Hwy to Denman, then cutting across to Kandos, Ilford, Sofala and finally Bathurst. 
 
Also, if you've never driven around the Mount Panorama circuit, don't miss this opportunity to experience it for yourself!
 
Please make sure that you have a full tank of petrol at the meeting point.

Really looking forward to this event, always enjoy the Putty Road and a first for me on the other Roads that cut across to Bathurst. Ill be bringing my UHF Transceiver and SLR camera to get some action shots around Mt Panorama if time permits.

I was thinking that might be a good option for any of us from Newy who were thinking of going.

Attention Novacastrians...
I just asked John and he said he won't actually go to Denman. 
If you want to meet in that area instead of the initial meeting point, he said the best option is to meet at Warkworth on the Golden Hwy at 10am. 

I should also mention that I won't be able to attend this run myself unfortunately. 
There will be other club committee members there, including new committee member Eddie. 
 

The reason we don't go to Denman is because the route leaves the Golden Hwy at Jerry's Plains and uses Jones Reserve Rd and Martindale Rd to bypass Denman and takes the Yarrawa Rd to Bylong. Those from Newcastle should expect the convoy coming up the Putty Rd to go through Warkworth sometime between 10:15 and 10:30 if they leave at 8:30 from McGraths Hill. Lunch is booked at a pub bistro for 1pm in Rylstone, so I'd appreciate knowing numbers going so I can confirm with them. There is over 500 kms of driving for the day, so Mt Panorama will be optional when we reach Bathurst, as some may want to head back home at that stage.

Or we could meet at the Servo at Jerry's plains.  That way if anyone that's started at McGraths Hill needs a stop for anything, it could be done at the same time.

Shaz, I'm happy to meet the Novocastrians at Jerry's Plains at 10:30 instead of Warkworth. Let me know if that will be the case. John

I may bring the Swift along. I'm always keen for Putty Rd.
