Hey guys, just wondering if anyone had any ideas on what rims to get and also
are 19's too big for the rear ?

I guess what tickles your fancy in terms of rims style, and if you dont want to copy anyone here as well.
Have a look on the showroom thread, there maybe some styles you might be interested it. I'm selling my Tom's rims in 18s if you were interested btw.
I've seen 19' on MR2, but you will be riding around on tyres the thickness of a bee's d*ck
 
 
 

Off topic, but I think I saw your car around the Liverpool area once.

Back on topic, I wouldn't recommend 19s on an MR2, 17s or 18s are the way to go.

Some people say that even 17s are too big (and heavy).

17's on a stock body, 18's for a kitted/big lipped body.
 
17's aren't too big/heavy IMO. 17inch forged wheels would be great (eg TE37s).

Yeah i bought my car from around hoxton park .. i got the car with 19s on the back and 18s on the front but when i picked up the car it had new tires on the original 15 inch rims which are in very good nic ,but when i bought the car the guy gave me the aftemarket wheels withe the tires bald on the 19s he put them on the side off my house and when i look at them when they left i was like shiit someones been doing burnouts ..owell the were given as an extra anyway .... i think i like the look at deep dish rims i know the ride wont be very good but i think the car will look sexy as with 19 inch black deep dish rims .. what do you guys think is it worth it or do you think black 18s will look fine?

It's entirely owner preference. Can you post pics & we can give our 2 cents.
 
Personally, I'd never run 19's on an MR2.
