Ahahah even if you snap it its just to hold it so it dosnt move about whilst driving if you break it make sure it's all tight but if your still worried take it out of the braket and use another bar or socket to wedge against something so it can't move ahah
Other then that zip ties work just aswell as a bracket :p
But if you do happen to break it I could probably find you another one if there's one in Australia
I work in spares at toyota ahah :p and Ill get it for cheap
But yeah fuel pump is a whole nother pita
If mine needs replacing ill try and do it myself if that fails its going to a mechanic ahah probs to the guys at work for cheap rates :p
But I'd try it to learn.
But yeah massive job apparently.
I wouldn't bother with the fuel pump if its been built id say it has a different better pump in it especially if it has different Larger Injectors
Also wouldn't bother until these issues have been sorted
Fuel pumps good ones aren't cheap and nor is the labour if you can't manage it yourself
Especially since you may have a clogged/dirty filter :p
Not saying this will fix everything but if it looks old and it hasn't been replaced in quite a while chances are its clogged
And will help your car plenty especially the rough idle/start issues
