Hi all,

I'm just trying to get ideas on developing a new intake pipe for my n/a 4age. I've so far fitted a 2 1/4" mandrel exhaust including headers and a high flow catalyst, mild cams and vernier cam gears and a tvis delete plate. Next thing on the cards is to replace the stock inlet pipe. I believe it has too many right angle bends as well as the air needing to travel up hill. It cant be the most horsepower producing setup. Although with the the battery still sitting in the stock location, space to run a decent solid intake with minimal bends could be difficult. I'm still running the stock ecu so i'll need to keep things like the air temp sensor and afm.

Question is! Has anyone here modified the air intake on their n/a aw11 and if so can you feed me some ideas or even better, photographs of your work? Cheers

Mine has just a silicone join after the t/b, the air temp sensor went in that, then a pod on the other side of the afm, but if u want it leagal, i think get a silicone join after the afm and a right angle pipe and plumb it into the boot?? Mine was similar to this, just ad the afm, but were the pod is, just right angle into the boot and ur gold i reckon, cops will never spot it

Cheers! I'm going to use a pod filter that I know. I'm going to have a look at autobarn on the weekend and see what they have as far as bends and sections of pipe go. I'm thinking I may need to extend the lenght of the afm plug lead as the afm is still sitting fairly low in the stock position.
