Its a hard top too, which is a big plus in my books.
As long as mechanically in good condition it would be a great buy.
I would look to see if there are any receipts for the work that's available and go from there.
Depending if work was done or not, I would be expecting some suspension bushes or ball joints to need replacing, as my one had less km then that and were well worn - but most of which are easlily sourced and relatively easy to install.
The steering wheels appears to be the stock one, my 1991 had the same one although my 1993 has a slightly different one.
I feel if you drive it sensibly, and to your limits you wont have troubles with it. Some people feel that the improvements made to the later one reduced the driving style of the MR2. I would drive one for yourself and you be the judge. Good quality wider tyres will definitely help - appears it already has some on.
