Hi all,
apologies if this has been covered already, but I did a search and couldn't find anything...
I just want to replace the gearbox/LSD oil in my S-Dub, and was wondering what everyone uses/recommends..?

Thanks in advance!

For a std LSD im pretty sure its Penrite 75 gear oil.

Have a look on Road and track site.

Hi, I have some months ago replaced my LSD gear oil with REDLINE MT-90.  I have to say the gear changes fill much better than before, old oil was a shell synthetic.

Redline MT90 killed a fresh transmission of mine, seriously don't recommend it. I actually use the Caltex branded 75/90 GL4 Easyshift (which is Toyotas recommended spec & used in some Toyotas apparently). Works perfectly. I'd stay away from GL4/5 transmission oils. Everytime I search the shelves, never find a 75/90 GL4 from Penrite.

Good to know!
I quite like Penrite oils, so would use one of those as long as it's good. Otherwise I might see if I can get my hands on the Caltex stuff.
How much will I need?
