So who's fitted a braided SS clutch line and did it make much of a difference in feel, over the stock (old) rubber one?

My pedal feels pretty spongy so I want to make it 'feel' better if possible.

Any feedback would be great :)

Cheers

yeah fair enough mate - I saw those speed source ones from twos r us but they want 50 bucks shipping for it tho...
so I'm looking at a HEL one on eBay. Apparently you need one if you have a heavy duty pressure plate etc. so it might explain why mine was disengaging near the floor

^ i know people look at those braided lines for clutch and brakes and report improvements but really is it ?

Most that put them on are really replacing original hoses that are on a 15 plus year old car. As my mechanic said just buy a new hose and it will be alright for another 5 plus years.

I have one. Replaced the old one when changing a dead slave cylinder. No real difference, but I guess it's nice to know it's there.

So $75 delivered for HEL braided kit or about $40 bucks delivered for the standard hose (which wont last as long).
I think i'll do the braided for piece of mind.

Thanks guys :)

I replaced mine and noticed no difference in feel. I guess it just has the added safety of not cracking leading to leaks.
