Thanks for comments guys, ive been a huge fan of the Toyota twincam Family for a long time. My first twincam was a TA22Celica with 2gt Yammah head twin solex, that got me hooked, and allways wanted a ae82TWINCAM Flat back in white since, had that for 9 years put a 6spd in it and loved it till the hail we had at Movie World in Sept a few years back killed it :( allways wanted a Sprinter But uno the story, rust and trying to get a clean one and the cost to build one up or fix previous Damage from being drifted,so i decided on the supercharged MR2 bang for Buck on Rails, I just sold my 88seca with 4agze101 conversion, loved the torque, sick of front wheel drives.

Hey (Bustin) i love your wheels, i would love 17's but dont want my car to look like a Tonka Truck LOL, im thinking Konig 15" Rewinds with the the charcoal centre mmm nice would suit the white over silver theme. Hey "KRAZE" dont sell your car Buddy or i will have to come pay you a visit with my hired thugs. Hopefully meet some of you soon , Greetings from Pacific Pines GoldCoast .... :)

I too was worried they'd look to big, but after having them for a year or so, they look just right. I was going to get 16'' but after a trial fit of the 17'', I was sold. 17'' isn't that big these days.

Yes, i have finally got back my parts that needed fixing and plastic welding etc. The Front spoiler and right rear J Skirt. which had been damaged by previous owner.
Dont have pictures yet.
I have been thinking very seriously about spending some money on wheels when tax time comes about. Every place ive been has tried to sell me 17's. I have decided what type of wheels i would like to get. 15's by 7's ,4X100 .(40) offset they will come as,correct me if you feel it wont be a good fit, they should be. Konig Rewinds with the charcoal centre. $1250,includeing tyres from OZZY Tyres. i want the old school racer look . In someways im not sure if i want to lose the factory prestige look of the original "mint" teardrops by Toyota. And the comfertability, but on the other hand i crave the racer look. What's ur opinion.

I have also been thinking of upgradeing the exhaust, mine being standard, for a little better flow and hopefully not to much louder as i enjoy hearing the motor behind my head. There isn't that much choice apparently. I have been quoted anything from $200-$170 for a cat back 2-1/4 inch mandrel bend system with 2-1/4 straight throu muffler as long as possible to standard length, with my original twin tip attached to the end.

I have really enjoyed owning and driving this car and i feel i will keep it for a long time yet.

****** More up dates and progress to come.*******

Heheh someone's got the mod bug....

15x7s will be sweet for ride comfort and with GOOD tyres the'll grip like anything as well.

Looking forward to some photos.

1250 for a set WITH tyres?! goddamn thats good! :)
wheels are easy to change back and forth... ive got a couple sets i change around just for fun. i drive around with my teardrops every once in a while.. but when i feel like a wannabe racer, i chuck on my set of black watanabe's (veeeery simmilar to the rewinds) and matt black SC engine lid! [88]

car looks great btw. damn 6grand is nothing! :)
