Great work! Good to see my hard work paid off & you're happy. Really looks good & is now unique. I agree about deleting the toblerones. Very cheap & easy DIY job since you just use AUDM solid side mountings (your car is black too). You can take a look at mine tonight if you wish. You are bringing it to tonight meet right?

purple5ive, Magman does take them apart to freshen them up (including each bolt). He's done a few jobs for me & my mates in the past.

Btw Rob, maybe now you can help me convince Tom to change his Border front

did you find out if the wheels were taken apart to freshen them up?

I forgot to ask for more information, but I assume that the wheels were disassembled, because the back of the spokes were painted too, and even the bolts (that attach the spoked section to the barrel) look cleaner than before.

one more thing to do i reckon, get rid of that amber coloured toblerone and get the solid side moulding in place.

Hmmm, only a few people have mentioned it, and I've never really given it much thought. I don't know if I would replace them with plain side mouldings, I may replace them with clear toblerones instead. TBH I'm so used to the orange ones I don't mind them.

I know what you mean. IF I decide to do it, I might wait until I take my front bar off when the new heat exchanger gets fitted. Hmmm, on the other hand I was intending for my car to be 100% finished on the outside when you do the photoshoot lol.
I might drive it to the meet, I'm not sure yet.

So where can we get these clear side toblerones, I need to do the same?

A guy Wolfie308 in the UK makes the clear indicator. They look OEM.

You don't remove the front bar to change it.....lol I reckon Julian can do it in less than a minute per side....hahaha

Drive it tonight! I see no reason for you not to.

I only said that because it might make it slightly easier, and the front bar will be removed later anyway. Also, remember that if I did it your way I would need to move the indicator wiring up to the new location.

Yeah I'll regret it if I don't.

The only reason i would remove the Amber toblerones is to match it up with the front clear ones by either going clear toblerones or going with the solid side moulding
the clear front and amber sides dont do it for me personally
or go the other way and get the full amber front ones..

since you dont have indicators on the front quarter panels you might have to keep the side toblerones for legal reasons..

if the wheels weer taken apart then thats awsome
if you dont mind letting me now how mcuh it all ended up costing thats would be awsome, i might send mine down there to get done
cheers
