Gauges look great. Your cigarette lighter position is actually visible, its hidden from view in our mr2, maybe its the different wheel. I would personally change the oil gauge lighting to white for a uniform look if possible.

Cheers

Ideally I would prefer for it to be white like the other gauges for uniformity, but by the same token I think the head unit looks good with coloured illumination, so at least I can have two things with red illumination. Red is my favourite colour anyway so I don't really mind!

Today I did a few laps around the (fairly long and vacant) carpark at my work (that's the only place I can drive at the moment), and OMG I can't wait to see what the car has really got on the road! There was only enough room for about 50% throttle coming onto boost about 10 meters before I had to brake, but dammmmnn she just wants to go like a rocket at that moment...and that is only with the 11-12psi wastegate spring pressure (which it was nowhere near anyway)

My car has been back on the dyno today, finally

It had an oil change beforehand because there was a bit too much fuel in the oil from running rich during the initial setup and tuning (and it's still being run-in, with running-in oil).

We bumped the boost up to 15psi (still nowhere near the 20-23psi that I'll be running once it's run in), and it easily made 200kW atw at about 6500 RPM

There will be more progress to report soon I hope, but my full-power target looks like it will be very achievable once the engine is run-in.

Thats nice.
Would like to see the power curve. Are you doing 4th gear pulls and using Dyno Log by any chance ?

I assume you mean Mainline Dyno Log, but nah it's Dyno Dynamics.
I wasn't paying heaps of attention to all the specifics relating to the power figure at this early stage, we were really just testing things like the boost control and seeing how the engine responded out of curiosity, but I think it was in 4th gear. I'll wait for the full power tune before I get a photo of the dyno curve.

Sounds good, Well done

I got my Aeroware front lip the other day, so here are a few photos:

The quality appears to be very good. It's quite thin and flexible (I think it's a special type of fibreglass that Shine Auto use) so it should be really durable, unlike the dodgy thick brittle cheap fibreglass body kits out there.

When I get a chance I'll probably get the Aeroware lip and PP rear corners fitted and painted together, and my left side skirt needs repairing at the same time too.

Mate looking really good, love the look of your engine bay,
With the X brace bumping on the Manifold. look into maybe some washers to raise it a bit or some sort of fabric (maybe heat wrap tape) to work as a cushion and absorb the knock/sound.

I heard from Adaptronic again, Andy said my car was briefly back on the dyno on Sunday. It is now up to 225rwkW with 16psi of boost (I'm waiting for Andy to reply to a message where I asked about the RPM and a few other things). Soon enough the 20-23psi maximum boost level will be set and it sounds like my power goal will be easily achieved.

Thats some pretty good figures Rob! Mine is making a bit less than that but there are still some things I can tweak, but I'm going to leave it for the moment and sort out other issues as I'm quite happy with where the engine is at currently. Good luck with it.
