Sorry Robk, by TMIC, I meant trunk mount.

As for my own W2A setup, I welded up my A2A & gave it more volume too. Radiator/HE was a custom made core by PWR (RaceSolutions then made the end tanks), which was pretty much as big as I could fit without any major modifications up front. Water pump is a Bosch unit. I was concerned with H/E blocking the radiator, but my water temps haven't changed at all. So other than the cost, W2A is really the perfect solution. TMIC is cheaper & can potentially be better (if you get fancy), but you have to cut & make sacrifices. I can still fit my golf clubs in the boot

W2A takes longer than A2A to recover after heatsoaking (which I doubt I'd ever get anywhere close to), so for a street machine, I'd go W2A, but for a trackwhore I'd honestly go A2A TMIC, as it'd be less prone to failure (less complicated too).

Looks like sound advice :)

Do you really take that car to the country club?

Sure do. Feels too cliche driving the Lexus there all the time. I noticed people are more friendly sometimes too....lol Makes for a good time too, you tend to talk cars inbetween swings. Also helps draw attention away from my flawed technique [:p]

I have a mental image of all these posh people in slacks and sweaters dropping tea cups as you drive through the expensive iron gates. The whole room, previously filled with idle chatter and laughter becomes dead silent.

I know courses & clubhouses aren't like that, but it sure makes for a funny image.

*EDIT* At the time of this post I purchased a GT3082R turbo which I used for about 2 years. I now have a GTX3076R instead.

Goodwork with the turbo! Well thought out & I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

About the IC, that's fair enough. I'm sure it'll work quite well. Just a bit too complex for my liking & intrusive to the trunk. But at least it'll be a bit different. Try keep the heat exchangers as far away as possible from the hot areas of the engine bay (especially the dump pipe).

The heat exchangers will be positioned similarly to the stock A2A IC, but with one on the left too. The water will simply go through one HE then the other one.
I originally wanted my W2A barrel in the engine bay, but I figured I could fit a bigger one in the boot to make it more worthwhile. I don't use my boot for anything big, so the only downside is the holes that need to be cut. Once I receive the barrel I'll still try to find a way of fitting it in the engine bay if possible, but it is literally a barrel shape (8+" long 6" diameter), so this would be tricky.

If you're absolutely intent on doing it that way, then you'd probably have the passenger side H/E as the last in the chain as it'll be the furthest away from any hotbits.

To be honest though, even though you're pretty much decided, I still can't figure out why you're making it harder for yourself. Your proposed setup would be more complex (ie failure prone), expensive (extra mounting cost, extra H/E), take up more room, involve cutting, make the core difficult to locate/mount & by no means outperform a front mounted H/E & core mounted in engine bar (passenger side barrel).

Don't get me wrong, not trying to discourage you, just my 2c & giving you my perspective. Final point, if I were in your shoes & mounting the core in the boot, I'd be using some a LOT better than a PWR barrel. Something of similar size to this (wayy too big to fit that core in the engine bay):
