yeah that exhaust mani is pure car porn and looks good in all 3 options. I personally love the black but it makes them more subtle.

That's not entirely true lol, I've ended up putting as much emphasis on the bling as I have on the performance with all my engine parts! Yesterday I had my heart set on silver-coating the mani, but now that I've seen how black will look I reckon I'll go with black, because it still looks great and it will perform the best too.

The only problem with making your engine look awesome is that you will now be forever compelled to keep it looking great :P.

You could always get the black finish for performance purposes then paint it if you wanted it another colour. My black has started to peel off (due to a poor job), leaving some rust stains, so I'm painting over it when i could be bothered masking all the surrounding components.

I'll be getting the exhaust manifold back any day now, with the black ceramic coating. I'm glad I went with black, I like it the most now! So it's a win-win for performance and appearance. I found out the name of the place that my mechanic uses for ceramic coating, it's 'Hi Octane Racing' at Rydalmere.

In other news, today I finally tried my audio system, and I'm so happy with how it sounds! Just to recap, I have this setup:
- Pioneer AVIC-F910BT DVD/NAV double-din head unit
- Pioneer 12 inch sub behind passenger seat, in my own enclosure
- Pioneer GM6400F Amplifier behind driver's seat
- Kenwood door speakers
- Stock tweeters near side mirrors
- Stock speakers on side walls next to headrests

It turned out that I had the RCA cables for the sub and the front speakers swapped over, but once that was fixed it sounded beautiful! I don't know how I managed to get that wrong because I labeled the sub RCA cable and everything...although it was about 3am in the morning when I did it so that probably explains the mistake.

BTW, if anyone is interested to know the dimensions of the enclosure that I made for the sub, let me know. It fits PERFECTLY on top of the storage box behind the passenger seat. It is an 18 litre enclosure (almost exactly what is recommended for my 12 inch sub).

Glad Hi-Octane is doing a better job of your gear then he did mine. When he first started doing ceramic coating I had him do my firewall heatshields. I had to send them back, and wasn't entirely happy the second time around either, but, I just accepted it.

Thats alright, cause I got shafted by the local ceramic coating mob also. I guess its just me, and everyone likes to bend me over :D
