We left it out the front of our house for several weeks, then one day Nathan didn't have car to drive down the street so he started it up and everything went fine. Alas, when it next rained the same issue reoccurred. It's somewhere in the wiring. The 20V conversion wiring is a bit messy and I have picked up a 20V loom from Japan ($150) plus a full car loom from Victoria ($50) so one day when I get a chance I'll sort it. Been working on the blue one and just doing life - I get a little bit done every now and then. If the red one gets a cover over it it's fine and Nathan took it Hillclimbing a couple of Sunday's ago. We were going to sell it but Nathan is a bit fond of it - it's quite fun :-)

I hope both the cars can make it in 2016. Would be great to see both being driven hard. Paul has asked a few times if you found a solution. He would have spent more time on it in 2015 but was pretty busy with a few other cars.
He stated he will be back in 2015 with Geoff Fear and a third mechanic.  
 
My car is a step closer to being there with the gearbox being assembled and test fitted to the car last night. Will be working over the weekend to have the engine in the car but there is still plenty to do before its actually running.

Would be great to see your superclean mr2 with a 2gr in it.... then i will go as mean as it looks ;-)
All of us S.A. guys (at least the guys that come over with me) will again stay for the wednesday open track day at Wakefield. 
We have done it the last 2yrs & its been great.  (often have the track nearly all to ourselves).

Ahhhhhh That bearing issue was me! Ended in a full rebuild.Damaged, crank,Pistons etc etc. put another had clutch in while I was there. Have just run it in. Now back getting fine adjustments and then off to the tuner. I will be there again in January. An expensive oversight!

I have been busy updating all the pages on the website. Next is the final refresh of the information pack then its pretty much ready to go.
A newsletter is being sent out right now to all the email addresses of all the entrants from 2013-2015. This has two password protected pages which allows access to the entry forms for 2016.
Reason being, this a presale for all previous entrants of MTC. This is valid till the end of August then it open to the everyone else who would like to join us in 2016.
So as of today you can register and pay for MTC 2016.
There is also the option of a 3rd day which can be entered at any time.
People looking to check it out, do a cruise session, passenger pass (up to the individual to find a ride) photo shoot, bbq can do so for $100.
Looks like Kazumasa will be back in 2016.
My 2GR will be fitted in a week or two (I am serious!) but will not be running for another month after that.
Aaron has entered. First one. He is aiming at having the 1MZ AW11 running. This will be nuts.
