Can we please open the registration to the 1st timers as well to encourage new MR2 participants?
 
I'm planning 2-3 track days before the MTC for testing etc, and I'd like to ensure my finances, admin, and leave plans are squared away well in advance so I can concentrate on the car itself.

I'm trying to get a mate from work interested and he had similar queries regarding his stock 370Z and the factory tyre widths.
 
From a logical perspective his car is probably competitive with the modified >2L class so it should't be an issue that he couldn't run in the street class.  After all the class restrictions are designed around MR2s.

He must have the sport spec 370z (love these cars!) The sports spec should be 38" of tyre patch but the reg is 36".
 
His car is in invitational over 2litre so concessions can be made. Again, I will have to go over the reg's again this week to clear this and a few other issues.

I do like that track but not at this stage. I did talk with Mathew about something like this a few years ago but there is a lo more work as its running the track in reverse which creates issues.
We will just stick with our existing tracks.
