I have just finished putting a ats 6puck unsprung clutch in and a light weight flywheel, i have a problem where the clutch will not disengage.

I know i installed everything correctly, 99% sure because i triple check everything.

With the engine off i can cycle through all gears,
With the engine on i cannot select a gear,
I can start the car in gear and it takes off.

Does anyone know if you have to adjust the pivot under the release fork?

I used the throwout bearing that was supplied with the clutch kit, the clutch plate is around the right way.

The flywheel in a 2nd hand though machined chromoly lightened flyweel purchase from road and track

there is a little squeak when i push the clutch pedal (noise comes from engine bay, i can see and feel the slave piston push the fork. The slave has no play in it and is installed correctly.

I am going to try and adjust the pedal tomorrow but if not i guess i have to pull the gearbox.

any ideas anyone?
Cheers.

I have the same problem as you atm mate. However, I have sitting around somewhere the extended slave cylinder push rod which, when I find it will install and see if thats any better.

I am running an RPS sprung 6 puck clutch with alloy flywheel, all new though..

Maybe someone else might know, I was just going to see if the push rod made a difference and go from there...
