Does anyone in SA know this car - I'm seriously thinking about pursuing it but am in Sydney so any informed comments will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Graham

Which makes him exactly the same age as me which is one of the reasons I am interested.  Body kits and 19" wheels not my thing. Nice of @EssDub to refer to this age as 'older' rather than just plain 'old' !
So any thoughts on what would be a good price for this beastie?

If the car is true to the description in the ad, I think if you picked it up <$10K you'd be doing OK! (sorry: I had misread current bid, ($8K) as asking price )
cheers

Hi There,
I also am an older person, who purchased a similar looking 1996 Bathurst SW20 earlier this year.
Page 3 of this post under the name of FIGO.
I paid $9000, which with 20/20 hind sight & having spent about $2000 getting it to a condition to get it inspected & licensed in W.A. may have been slightly over the odds.
I am not complaining but. It is a great car.
However yours is a couple of years younger & looks even better.
The seller may have a reserve of $10000 or more.
Good Luck !

I actually do know that guy! He totally came into my work once. He's a nice guy, we had a good chat. The car is amazing, it's true about all the money he spent on it, it's stunning.
