MANDALAY
I should have the part number somewhere. At worst case you can quote my VIN and you will get the correct part as my car is a 1999 Aussie model
Red Lettering is nice

As is the TRD steering Wheel.

Having shift lights is a bonus , no need to look at the Taco

Thanks Mandalay,
I agree the red looks nice.
I love what you've done with your car. The TRD steering wheel with the shift lights added looks fantastic.
A bit beyond my budget atm.
I've read every page of your build and am just a bit envious lol.

Cheers
Rick

I reckon stick with red 180. How often are you going over 180 anyway lol.

If you can get a red 260 go for it. The 180's just look odd to me.

I do prefer the look of the 260, but it all comes down to $$$$.
I'm saving for some wheels atm..

The cheapest solution is to keep the instrument cluster that's in your car now and just wire one of these in.

It also means you won't run foul of "the authorities" for having different mileage on your odometer to what's actually on the car.

Thanks mister2, but i really want to use the cluster with the red markings. I want to try to update my 97 to the 98/99 spec, so i'll be looking for a steering wheel and gear knob with red stitching later on....

How about you buy the new red face speedo, take the face from it and place it over your original speedo (keeping the odometer for chassis correct) then install the original speedo into the beams cluster.

Not the cheapest option - that would be to keep the 180kph beams face.

Once the clusters are out you'll see how easy it is to swap any of the gauges around.
