I had to replace my dash globes with LED globes off eBay as my originals died.

But the replacements only ever last about a week. I've tried all different types, from different sellers, at different prices. They just don't last. The best run I've had was probably a good solid month.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Cheers!

LED's should last forever.  Wonder if your voltage regulator is playing up and over volting.

Had the same issue in another car.  I think the current was wrong, with the dimmer turned down they kept blowing, its now turned up and the LEDs have been good for about a year now.

In most instances, LEDs cannot be dimmed. This may have to be the only place in the car where you have to use ye olde globes :-)

LEDs have no resistance, so they rely on a separate resistor (eg. dimmer) to limit the current. LEDs can normally handle only a few tens of milliamps without burning out.
Normal/stock bulbs, on the other hand, act as resistors themselves.

^^ that what im saying, kinda using the dimmer as manual resistance.
