Eric
Hi everyone

As some of you know, I am currently building a 3sge powered ra60 celica. one of the issues i have is that the dizzy is on the back side of the motor.

Theres is a way to move it to the front of the engine, mounting it on the same camshaft. My question is this:

The dizzy is run off the rear of the intake camshaft. if I move this to the front side, how will this affect the spark distribution? will the firing order just be the reverse of what is written on the dizzy, or will the engine think that it is running backwards?

Thanks

No  No   Don't do it.  Cut hole in firewall if access is required.   Phone me and Ill tell you why.  Cheers.

Since this is just a drift pig, cut the firewall, it's much easier.
If your going for an aftermarket ecu, you could however switch to a crank wheel trigger instead.

Agree with knightrous, go for crank angle sensor.
