The APEXI race gasket? if so i have that. It is nice but i am sure the Cometic works just as well.
 
 

I received my HG today. 
I ordered the 1.8mm to get the 8.5:1 CR, as I can only get 98 pump and would like to put the boost up a bit.
But I got sent the wrong one. With this my CR would be just over 8.8:1
Is this going to be an issue or should I ask to get the correct one sent to me? I dont mind waiting, just a bit of a hassle.

bit of a side note for you mate, in reference to the plastics from james, I am driving up to bris in Oct and again over xmas, if you want I can bring them back down with me, as early next year, round feb-april, i will be in vic for a course for work if you want me to bring them over to you, if you are in no rush for them?

running bp98, will this limit the boost I should run? or will be just down to how low I can get my intake temps?

how much boost are you wanting to run exactly? more than 20psi?

yeah i wouldn't mind going a bit over 20. if i could build it for 24 then I know I'd be safe just running less and could go up to that if ever wanted.
Or am I dreaming at 24?
 

I wouldn't go over 20 personally, but 22psi should be ok. It'll just be more prone to detonation. Keep in mind Gen2's are around that comp from factory. Only talking a small difference either way.
