So found out my oil leak is due to not my o-ring, but the whole distributor has damaged itself (center shaft is loose etc).
Urgently need to find a new one (including turbo dizzy cap if possible) asap. Don't see any online atm.
 
I believe all the models used the same dizzy, just the cap is different (citation needed).

With a little know how you can repair these yourself, you just need a bearing press or clamp to use with a gear puller to get the shagged bearing off the shaft. Rebuild kit is available here (or sometimes eBay where postage is cheaper):

Otherwise check out Amayama.com, the part number for the housing is 19235-88363 to fit a '91 GTE.
I believe your statement is correct regarding just the cap being different, but someone with more experience on this should confirm.

There are only two types of caps used on 3s motors - early and later models, and the same dist caps are used on both turbos and NA's.
BTW, Twos'rus also list those.
The early model one is the 88363 with the large center connector socket.

TwosRUs are great but shipping is always a killer on shipping for small, inexpensive items. Hence why I mentioned the KBox rebuilt kit can usually be found on eBay and a lot cheaper to ship.
 
Sounds like Totenkopf can sort you out, if not Amayama is a great place to find OEM Toyota parts for cheaper than local dealerships. You can also use Toyodiy.com to find the part numbers you are after.
 
The rebuild guide sounds spot on, it's pretty much the same as doing the rebuild on the AW11 dizzy too. Thus far I've found my rebuild pretty easy, the only hard part is getting the bearing off the shaft and the new one on.
