Payment info will be confirmed on Wednesday

Hi All,

After I killed my CV at the drags last night, it's time for an upgrade.

This has prompted me to try and organise a group buy of the CRW HD CV Joint Kits out of the US.

These are useful once your car is making 275-300hp or in my case, a heap of torque. The standard E153 CV's cant handle hard launches. I am lucky that the bearings didn't escape the cage and rip a hole in my engine block or gearbox.

This is a good preventative measure if you believe you will make decent power (now or in the future) and launch the car hard.

The joints have a lifetime warranty and come with grease and boots etc. Link here:

Currently I am looking at two options:

EDIT - I have spoken with Josh and he has clarified and given us a price

CRW HD CV Kit:
-BRAND NEW ITEM/PARTS
-Fully Assembled with inner and outer races.
-Heavy Duty Cage
-Comes with everything in the twos r us photo listed above
-Good for over 700WHP
-Lifetime warranty. If you break the CV's, he will replace the parts.

Price: $225 USD (approx $311 AUD give or take) Plus Shipping (Minimum 6 Kits)

Shipping: $45 USD Per Kit. Josh has found that shipping them in groups of two is by far the cheaper option. This means he has to invoice each parcel separately.

AUD Price as at 23/5/16 - $389~
These will be shipped to Brisbane and disbursed from there.

Please put your name below if you are interested in the kits

Might pay to ask if these are new or rebuilt second hand. I purchased a set direct from CRW and they came with pieces of old gaskets stuck to them and a couple of hammer marks on the cages. Might not be a direct concern to you but could upset some members in a group buy. Still have them here in the original packing. When I went to replace them in my car I discovered I already had an upgraded set installed prior to my purchase of the car.

I have just spoken with Josh from CRW - He clarified for me that all his kits are now brand new.

He has also given me pricing and more information which I am about to update in the first post

FYI, I have these CRW inner CVs in my car and they've been great.
I've done at least 20 launches, from soft to aggressive, with no trouble so far.
One of those launches had some horrible vibrations which may have killed the stock CVs, but the CRW ones held up fine.

Can you also find out what the cost is for the six kits to guide on what the postage cost would be approximately... Interested but not committed until total cost is more detailed

For those getting this, I would advise using the opportunity to check/change the carrier bearing and/or rear wheel bearings.
