I have been working on prepping the car for the trackday challenge over recent months. The car made it to the dyno last week, returning home for a few things done before a practice day.
I tried turning over the engine but it would not start. Sounded like no compression. I did some checks then tried again but it locked up.
I feared the worst and my fears were realized when I removed the head. The valve was sitting on top of the piston with some lodged in the combustion chamber. So the head is stuffed with two weeks before the trackday that I have organised. One positive point being more time to spend managing the day instead of attempting to drive the car but it would be great to have the car there.
So I am now putting out a call if someone has a gen 3 head that I can use for the trackday then return when completed if they so desire. A head without cams is also an option as I can use all my gear to complete the head.
If someone can help I can pick up anytime and will travel up to 6 hours in any direction to pick up to make this happen.

Thanks

I said the same thing. I could write a text book on the amount of problems.
