But seriously. Wow.

I would have had the traction dial on the wheel and not the start button, but that's just me.

Also i think your build is starting to overtake most of the efforts of the guys at Motec's projects.

Looking good, i think that is the neatest steering wheel wiring i have ever seen.

Are you running wheel speeds to the dash or into the ecu??

Thanks for the complements everyone!

Well yeah, my thought was im not sure how often ill use TC and to what level, how well it will work ect, so wasnt a highest priority, start button i wanted to get to easy and can do blind (full face helmet and HANS is bit restrictive looking down low) so put on the wheel so if i spin and stall, which i will, and theres a car coming i can start quickly. Yes i can setup auto restart like some V8 supercars have were i would press clutch and throttle both to 100% to re start if i stalled within few seconds ect.

I was debating ECU or DASH, was going to be 50/50, but then when i was thinking TC ive decided all 4 to ECU's 4 DI's, im assuming this is the best way for the ecu to control TC, it means i would be logging them slower then if thay were in the dash direct, but thats not a worry.

There is no harm in running them all to the dash, we even split them between the dash and the ecu sometimes as we have digital inputs used for other things in the ecu (cam control sensors for example.) Also if you have the right help on setup, you can do some really trick stuff with the dash to predict wheel lockups and flash a certain light on a shift light module.

Have you considered consulting a motec application engineer on ideas and how to best maximise your package. I have one in mind that could be really good to help.

And when you are getting to this point, have you considered running a dbw throttle?? You can do some insane traction control when one is implemented, and if you ever run a sequential gearbox, auto blip downshift etc can be setup, getting the most out of the setup.

Nice work Brendo!  Looks awesome.  Cannot wait to see the mechanicals built to your standard.
