hey was wondering if any one on here has used ultra racing components on the sw20.

was curious as to what the build quality is like and if they noticed any noticeable differences after the install

Didn't notice a difference at all using them..

Look nice but. Oil caps a pain to get to but.

Not sure anyone would notice the extra strength or grip over things like tyre wall flex, suspension, etc.
I am looking into it, because there does not appear to much stopping the structure from flexing.
If my car had nice paint, then I would not like the cornering loads to induce crazing.
Personally, the loads creating possible chassis/body flex should go to the appropriate suspension components, so theoretical, at least. I am looking for, or maybe making, the brace between the top of the front struts.

I have never heard of any car doing that ever. If your car is flexing that much from cornering its probably bending like a banana from its own weight. Even cars like trabants or those three wheeler UK fibreglass things didn't flex enough to craze paint. That would be crazy indeed.

Our cars have a very stiff chassis from factory. Seeing how there is pretty much two main wall' structures in the middle of the car, (fire wall front and back) compared to a typical silvia/skyline/wrx (front firewall and little structure in the back). If you're that worried take it to a fabrication shop as a shell and get them to stitch/seam weld it, full cage and put every little bit of suspension bracing on it. :)

The need for  extra bracing would depend on the use for the car.
 
Although the hardtop is slightly stiffer than the targa, the SW20 already had F and R top and bottom braces from the factory anyway, and the chassis actually has 5 bulkheads.

Thanks for the responses.  I am not surprised to hear that the shell is quite strong. The only brace I am considering is in front of the shell, the tops of the front suspension towers from flexing in and out, forward and back looks strong enough.
The standard brace that surrounds the spare wheel, looks inadequate - I could be wrong. It looks like you could bend that in your hands, after eating a hearty meal of course. The car will occasionally get on the track, but >99% will be daily commute with more spirited work-outs on weekends.
 Feel free to tell me the brace is not necessary.

The one around the spare wheel isn't a suspension brace, you'll fine the brace runs between the strut tops and the firewall.
