Needless to say I'm shattered and feeling totally let down by repeated earlier assurances that the visit would be on.
 
We have a few options for Monday's program which will be discussed over Saturday and a decision made at the MR2 Nationals dinner Saturday night.
 
It will still be a GREAT Event, one not to be missed. Entries close 20th September.

 
I wouldn't be too upset, it will still be an event to remember - it's all about the journey there as well as the meet.
 
It may have been good to see the track under construction but being at a track and not being able to drive on it? Would that be like looking at a waterslide park with all of the water missing?

And only just over 2 weeks away.  

If anyone is coming to Adelaide early, a few of us will be hitting the track ay Mallala on Thursday 28th Sept. Come along and join in or just have a look if you have the time.

At least two of us from the Vic MR2 Club will be going to Mallala, but just for a look so we'll see you there.

Looked at changing flights to leave Newy late Wednesday, overnight in Melb & arrive Adelaide early Thursday,  But :( it won't work.  Latest flight out of Newy isn't late enough.

That's unfortunate Shaz as passenger rides are part of Mallala track day.
Hoping for decent weather for the trip from Brisbane to Adelaide and the track day.
As of this morning some places are still available at Mallala if you are keen. Get on it fellas!!
I've entered for the track day and then the MR2 Nationals immediately afterwards. Will be great to catch up again.
Will have new brakes all round so long as they turn up here soon. Will need some lessons from Rick on driving Mallala.
Looking forward to seeing everyone in Adelaide. Bring all your tools as my thing is likely to need lotsa work.

Mike ( Carmikey ) would be better for tips than me.... I'd probably make you slower lol.

Slower is where I'm usually at so I'll be in known territory anyhow.
Car ran strong at Qld Raceway except brakes nearly shook hands off the wheel once they got hot.
Were fine on the road. Impossible on track. That's my excuse! Blames tools.
New brakes should arrive today. Hope.

Being passenger on the road will be different.  Hoping to maybe even get a ride in one of the Zdubs.
Weather is looking dry.  Take care on the roads on Friday tho.
