There will also be an evening hills run, for those who are more interested in technical driving, along with a 'Spanna Mana' afternoon, in case anyone wants to do work on their machines.

Thinking it might be a good chance to take the long route via Great Ocean Road.  Anyone want to join me?
Would do it on the way there & then do the most direct route on the way home.

That's a long way to Adelaide, We have the Adelaide hills to Strathalbyn which is down south, you can spend a days and still not find all the twisty roads here. I spent 20yrs riding road bikes in the hills, you will not get bored.

dennis the menace
Since first seeing the email about this one, I've spent some time gazing at my whiteboard for next year.  Can I fit in enough "spare" time to get my car into the workshop and get it finished in time?

I'm going to give it a darn good try.

Registered, paid, SA Accom booked.    Hoping to have paint sorted by then too.
I've changed my mind about going via GOR.  Need to do it when there is plenty of time to stop & look, not just drive it.

I just called Talem Bend management. Exciting times for S.A. but there will not be any track access till November-December at the earliest. If the people organising the MR2 National event can get past this, kudo's to them but looks highly unlikely.
Will there be a back up plan for people interested in doing a few laps at Mallala, a hillclimb or Adelaide raceway?

B24 We are still hopeful of being the first group to do a parade lap of the new circuit.  Keep our fingers crossed this will happen.  If not the Monday will be a drive to Tailem Bend to inspect the progress.

EssDub I tried for for ages to get you on board to assist organizing this Event without success.  There will not be an evening hills run, nor a 'Spanna Mana' afternoon as part of the MR2 Nationals 2017.

A load of work has gone into planning and the program is already fixed.  The evening hills run and 'Spanna Mana' afternoon and even Mallala could be a follow up events after the Nationals are done and dusted.

I hope you both join us in what will be a great event for South Australia.

Cheers, Kevin
