and what year is early model? mine is a 1990 turbo and came with 185/60/16 on the front and 195/60/16 on the back
Where did you get that info?
I believe your
original wheels would have been 14 inch and not 16 inch.
A 1990 model is an 'early model' and should have had 195/60/14 fronts and 205/60/14 rears as already mentioned.
Your placard on the driver's side doorpost should tell you.
After 1992 Toyota fitted 225 width tyres to the rear because of criticism of handling of the early SW20's
If you use 205 width tyre sizes all around,
just be sure you understand all about the 'snap oversteer' tendency with these cars, especially a turbo. Don't push it too hard in the corners.
