I think Mikes (carmikey) offset is a bit much when I saw it and might limit how wide your tyres can be without rubbing, even with rolled guards. I'm pretty sure Mike will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he'll recommend +35 or +38. Mike?
My offset +22 is fine and only rubs on hard corning & firm bumps, but mainly cause i run such low springs. It's the same issue when i run these wheels on my 96 gen 3 also. (Again that too has super lows in the rear). It does rub quite a bit with 45 profile and i would only recommend 40 max on front or rears.
I'll post a better side shot for u to decide for yourself.

Do you run +22 on front and rear?
Since I'm going to be running either Tein or BC Racing coilovers (haven't decided yet) and it is going to be fairly low, I need to make sure the wheel does not hit anything. Rolling the guards to my understanding is a necessity, but I don't want the wheel hitting the springs.
So would you just recommend running 17x8 +35 on the front and 17x9 +35 at the back? Thanks a lot.
