Wow what an awesome couple of days! Thanks so much to Highlander, Shaz, and the other volunteers that ran the event over the 2 days. Thanks also to our capable mechanics, Geoff and Paul. You all deserve medals.
From a competitors point of view, it all went like clockwork.
I have many hours of videos to go through ( I had 3 cameras this year) so I'll be a bit slower to get edited vids onto YouTube this year. For those of you that are still to begin your journeys home, travel safe.

Well said Glenn, I'd like to add my thanks to everyone who put in so much effort making this event happen.

Thanks Peter for a enjoyable and well organised event.

Thanks Shaz for all that you do.

Thanks volunteers because it wouldn't happen without you.

Nathan and I had a great time of racing and socialising. We had a few mechanical issues that were resolved with the great help of Paul and Geoff (they are awesome guys!).

Our favourite events were timed full track and hillclimb. We haven't got an issue with the January running of the event even though it was quite hot (we were intermittantly doing cool down laps during the sessions).

Can someone tell me where can I find the results/lap times etc?

Steve

P.S. Missed SG(B24) too

Wow. Another great couple of days. The new guys said they'll be back. We did miss a few of the regulars, but life gets in the way sometimes. My comfort zone stretched out even further. Dean thought my screaming meant more sideways please, lol. Turn 10 a bit sideways on ripple strips was a tad scary tho. 210 down the straight with Benny Tran. And the Lotus, Ferrari, Evo, and a few MR2'S of course
Thanks to everyone who helps to make this an event that is enjoyed by everyone that comes along. We even had a Japanese couple with their teenage son call in after googling what was happening in the area. We offered them some passenger laps, they thought about it, but politely declined.
Cherry on top for me this year was driving RobK's car there & back. I was a bit nervous about it, but the first little boost had me giggling....... and those still there today in the carports when we left, may have heard us leave. Still kept it pretty much within the speed limit tho... Hehehehe. Thanks Rob.

Thank you to everyone involved in the organisation and running of the event. It was very enjoyable as always!
Also, thanks to Shaz for getting me and my car down to the event and back while my license is suspended. I'm glad that you enjoyed it, especially those on-ramps

Here is the in-car footage showing why I won the 'brown pants' award (there was plenty of swearing after where I cut the end of the video lol):
https://youtu.be/NNuKeYVBnHo
I went faster than usual into the kink, and took the wrong line so the car got unsettled, therefore I was unable to wash off enough speed before initiating turn 2 (it may have been a different result with proper semi slick tyres vs my Federal 595 RSR tyres). I may have avoided the gravel if I stayed in a straight line and just kept braking instead of trying to get around turn 2. I also did the downshift slightly too late and with the rev-match a bit off, which didn't help the situation.
The gravel trap managed to pull the car up only 10 meters from the far tyre wall, and the rear-left tyre came off the rim when I went sideways over the ripple strip and into the gravel! Aaron and Cait kindly drove me into Goulburn yesterday so I could get the tyre put back on the rim and drive back home.
After washing the outside of the car yesterday arvo to get a closer look, it appears that there's no damage apart from the left side skirt which will need to be re-painted with some chips repaired.
PS: I'll never drive with my window/s down at the track ever again.
