Thanks for that, but it was looking like that bit was all ok.  The key was turning, both doors locking & unlocking & the rods were moving. Plus it is more difficult to get into that that pic.  There is a plastic cover thingy.  I think it an anti-theft piece or something.  so that people can't get a coat hanger in there.

She is at a Toyota dealership as we speak, hopefully they can sort it out.

Yaayy (sort of).  they got the door open & are still working on it, so that I can use it,  the girl couldn't tell me at this stage whether they needed any parts yet.

Door opens & closes. yaayyyy.
When I got in I realised that they hadn't put the door card back on tho.
I was running short of time, so couldn't wait for them to do it.
They recommended a new lock so possibly thought I'd be back for them to do it.  But for over $500 I don't think so.

Just need to talk nicely to someone to do it for me.

Yaayyyy.  All fixed & put together.

Drove around in borrowed ADUB or BMW for a week or did the Daisy Duke to get her to & from repairers. Then 3 weeks driving around without door card on drivers door.
