and if you go forged you could also look at custom length rods to change the rod stroke ratio.

I think there was a mob in aus which made itbs to bolt straight onto the inlet manifold of the gen3 once you removed the acis section



Cheers, if I was 20 years younger I would definitely run with that LOL. I am just looking to build a strong motor without losing too much bottom end and drivability but still a good increase in power when I want to wring its neck.

we have 1 set of 4 pistons, 0.5mm oversized. with rings, $225 set
 
i can get +1mm , but special order, typically 4 weeks
 
most engine reconditioners don't like +1mm cause the block walls get to thin, especially #3 cylinder
 
these are the standard design domed top piston used in late 3SG's
